The
liberalisation of the media in Uganda over a decade ago
has opened the industry in Uganda to several players,
with at least three dailies, and more than twenty weeklies
in production. There are also more than 100 radio stations
licensed or in operation and atleast eight television
stations are on air. Listed below are
