Ugandan visas are issued at our Missions/Embassies abroad
and also at the Entry/Exit Points e.g. Entebbe, Busia,
Malaba etc. Underlying the Uganda Visa Policy is the principle
of reciprocity that is, all countries that require visas
for Ugandans will have their nationals required to acquire
visas before, or upon entry into Uganda.

VISA CHECK LIST
In order to qualify for a visa application, all intending
travellers to Uganda must comply with the following requirements:
1. You must be in possession of a valid passport issued
by your government.
2. Present evidence of onward travel arrangements.
3. Present evidence of funds for maintenance of self while
in Uganda.
4. An International Vaccination Certificate against Cholera
(recommended, not required).
5. An International Inoculation Certificate against Yellow
Fever.
Delegates requiring a Visa may obtain clearance from Ugandan
Missions and Embassies abroad or on arrival at authorised
Entry Point. Your passport must be valid past the date
of your expected departure from Uganda.
Visitors to Uganda should also take malaria prophylactic
medication, however evidence of this is not required.
The use of insect repellent is strongly advised.
Delegates who intend to apply for Visas through Ugandan
Missions and Embassies should take note of the following:
· Officials at Ugandan Missions and Embassies
do not usually interface with applicants. Decisions
are based on the information on the application forms.
Therefore applicants should provide complete and correct
information. Clarity should be provided for intended
dates of travel, particulars of accommodation and other
required information.
· Applicants should apply in good time to avoid
any delays in processing of their Visas.
These are standard Visas whether obtained from a Mission
or Embassy abroad or an Entry Point to Uganda. At present,
multiple entry visas are only available from the Immigration
Headquarters in Kampala.
